Electric locks

ABLOY EL410 is a solenoid lock with ANSI dimensions used in wooden or metal doors

The locks are specially recommended to be used the interior and exterior doors of commercial premises, apartment buildings, etc., and are well suited for use with door automatics. The lock can be controlled by a variety of access control systems or remote control equipment, e.g. card reader, key pad, timer or push button

ABLOY^® el410 is a fail locked type lock. The door can be opened by pushing or pulling when electric control is switched on. When electric control is switched off, lock can be operated by key from outside and by handle from inside. In locked mode ABLOY^® el410 and ABLOY^® el411 locks are always automatically deadlocked when door closes. Lock cases are equipped with an integral microswitch to indicate unlocked/locked position.

EL402 is a push&pull function solenoid lock for narrow profile doors. Because of its unique symmetrical trigger bolt ABLOY^® el404 can be used in swinging doors. ABLOY^® el404 can be controlled by a variety of control devices such as card reader, keypad or timer. The lock can be connected to automatic swing door operator and is an excellent solution for use with access control system. Frame mounting above the door is also possible.. The locks cannot be used in fire rated doors.

ABLOY^® el402 is typically used in exterior doors of apartment buildings and interior doors of business premises.

Lock can always be opened by key or by thumbturn and the lock deadlocks automatically when the door closes.

EL432 is a motor lock used in narrow profile doors. Motor locks are best suited in high traffic doors. The locks can be electrically controlled by access control system or by a remote control system such as timer, keypad or push button. The locks can be used in fire rated doors (EN)

is recommended to be used in high-security sites, including nuclear, power plants, public utilities, IT and telecommunications industries, museums and financial institution

EL460 is a handle controlled solenoid lock used in narrow profile doors. Handle controlled locks are best suited in medium traffic doors. The locks can be electrically controlled by access control system or by a remote control system such as timer, keypad or push button. The locks can be used both in exit and fire rated doors (EN).

Application

Only outside handle is electrically controlled. The lock can always be opened by inside handle. Mechanical opening by cylinder is always possible.

EL466 is a handle controlled solenoid multipoint lock used in narrow profile doors. Handle controlled locks are best suited in medium traffic doors. The locks can be electrically controlled by access control system or by a remote control system such as timer, keypad or push button. The locks can be used both in exit and fire rated doors (EN).

ABLOY^® EL480 is recommended to be used in interior doors of business premises, public buildings, hospitals, educational premises and the exterior doors of apartment buildings and detached houses. The handle controlled locks are not suitable for use with door automatics.  

Handle controlled locks can be set to function as fail locked or as fail unlocked. In the fail locked setting, the lock can be opened by handle when power is on and cannot be opened by handle when power is off. In the fail unlocked setting, the electrical function is reversed. The locks are always automatically deadlocked when the door is closed. In ABLOY^® EL480 the outside handle is electrically controlled. The lock can always be opened by inside handle or by panic bar. In order to function correctly, the handle requires a split spindle. Mechanical opening by cylinder is always possible.

The locks can be electrically controlled by access control system or by a remote control system such as timer, keypad or push button. The locks can be used in fire rated doors (EN).

ABLOY motor locks EL495 FL for narrow profile doors are developed to aid product selection for demanding and functionally challenging door environment. The motor locks are especially suitable for two-way access controlled doors.

The Fail Locked (FL) model for exceptional environments, such as military, has an electrically controlled handle which is deactivated in case of a power cut. The exit handle or bar is unreleased in case of a power cut.
