Lock case EL558

EL558 is a SCAND standard motor lock for solid doors with latch function. The lock can be electrically controlled by access or remote-control systems.

The lock have a day function where the dead bolt is open and a secure mode where the dead bolt is automatically deadlocked when the door is closed. Mechanical opening by handle in day function and opening is always possible by cylinder. This type of lock with latch bolt cannot used with door automatics.

Lock is typically used in exterior doors of business premises, hospitals, educational facilities and residential buildings.

This product uses HiO technology which enhances the security of the lock. HiO is an Assa Abloy standard which connects electronic door components together over controller area network (CAN bus). This allows multiple benefits such as synchronization, monitoring and diagnostics. HiO products require an ARX system to provide the network (CAN bus).
