PE913 is a SCAND standard electric lock package for passive solid doors. Passive door packages include the main components of the passive leaf of a double door solution. These include a center lock, a top lock and a bottom latch. In this packcage top lock is electrically controlled, e.g. use with door automatcis. With an appropriate active door lock, PE592 / EL580, the double door can also be exit certified.
Double door solutions are especially suitable for routes when wider doors are needed to ensure the safe flow in an exit situation of a large amount of people. These use cases include hospitals, event venues and educational facilities.
