Tanel Värk works as a Regional Director for Abloy Baltics, Caucasus and Central Asia. Like many things in life happen, he ended up working for Abloy by chance. When Abloy Estonia was opening their office in Tallinn, he just applied without any big expectations. And the rest is history!

When starting with Abloy he knew the brand, of course, and Abloy’s products since those are widely used in Estonia, but when applying, he did not expect to reach the levels that he has!

Tanel started his career at Abloy already 17 years ago in 2006 as a Project Manager. For the next 10 years, he was responsible for technical support, customer relations and making quotations. After that he was promoted to Business Development Manager and soon he took the role of Abloy Baltic Managing Director. Since 2022 he holds the position of Regional Director and at the moment he´s responsible for the Baltics, Caucasus, and Central Asia

“I think the main characteristic that connects people within Abloy, is attitude. People are encouraged to be independent and to take on responsibilities. But also, we are very helpful towards each other and there is always somebody in some part of the world that you can turn to for assistance.”, Tanel says and refers to the fact that Abloy is part of the global ASSA ABLOY Group.
